I cannot install ActiveX Control. It does not give me the option to right click and install the software. I guess I need this to complete my class can you help me accomplish this?

Is there a video like this for students? I’d like to put a link to a video showing how to use the myITlab Office simulations on the syllabus for my online classes.

    Hi Jess,

I think I’ve looked at all that content but not found a video that actually shows students how to use the simulation environment. I did find a few pages of text in the Getting Started documentation, but no video. The videos you refer to, as far as I can tell, are all about registration and such.

This video for instructors is so great, I would love to have a similar one that just shows the training and assessment environments for students. If there is such a video, can you link me directly to it? Maybe I should link them to this one?

    Thanks,
    Lisa

Jessica – Regarding your post on 1/6/2012, How is the production of the video for students coming on using the My IT Lab simulations? We really need one on using Grader also.
I know there are printouts and lots of videos on registering/enrolling. We are looking for videos to help the online student use My It Lab.

      Thanks – Sue

Is there a way to save an exam and come back to it later? I have not been able to find any information on this.

  7. jessica says:

    Hi Sue –

We should have the video out prior to our Summer start. In the meantime, please refer to these additional resources:

Student Documentation – http://www.myitlab.com/Student_Support (at the bottom of the page)

    Hi Lisa,

Yes you can set up an Exam so that students can use the Save for Later feature. From the Course Content view on the My Course side – locate the Exam – click the Options dropdown menu and select “Set Scheduling Options”. On the Preference tab under “Others” you will see an option to “Allow Students to Save for Later”. This is only an option if you allow for multiple attempts.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

This video confirms that my beginner and advanced students should be offered the option of using My IT Lab.
